Members' meetings

CFG supports members in England and Wales with a programme of members' meetings in each of the four regional hubs - London and the South East, North of England, Midlands and South West & Wales.

Sessions cover topics from VAT, tax, investment and risk, to HR matters, leadership, IT and law.  In each region the meetings are structured to allow plenty of time for networking during a buffet lunch or drinks reception.  Members' meetings can also contribute to your Continuing Professional Development plan.

New format to your members’ meetings!

In response to feedback from our members, we’re trialling a new format for some of the members’ meetings to enable more discussion and debate between delegates and speakers. Importantly, the meetings will still include our popular networking receptions but will allow for more engagement and interaction throughout.

We hope you like it!

In London seven of the members’ meetings will be in the new format, with four in the previous format.

Numbers are limited to 40 and booking opens three months prior to the event.

London and the South East
Eleven meetings are held each year, each meeting is hosted by one of our corporate subscribers. Registration is at 3pm, the meetings start at 3.30pm and close at 5.30pm with an informal drinks reception.

North of England/Midlands/South West & Wales
Three meetings are held each year in each area, again hosted by corporate subscribers. In the North the meetings alternate between Manchester and Leeds, in the South West & Wales between Cardiff, Bristol and Exeter, and in the Midlands all meetings are currently held in Birmingham. All the meetings generally open at 1pm with registration and a buffet lunch, the formal part of the meeting begins at 2pm and closes at 4.15pm.

CFG members' meetings are usually for members only, although we generally open up two meetings per year in London and the South East and one meeting per year in the regions to non-member charities.
