Annual Fundraising Dinner

CFG's biggest networking event is our annual fundraising dinner.

The dinner hosts circa 500 guests and includes a drinks reception, raffle, after dinner speaker and three course meal.

The dinner is a vital way for CFG to raise funds. The proceeds from the dinner enables us to fund and develop our core work of training, skills building and policy development. 

The dinner gives our subscribers a valuable way to network with current and potential charity clients - many of whom will also be CFG members.

Our corporate subscribers book to host tables at the dinner at the rate of £2,850 per table. If you would like to book a table at the dinner please contact Dawn McNish.

The Annual Fundraising Dinner 2018 will be returning to the Royal Lancaster London 8th November.

The 2016 Annual Dinner was once again held at the Lancaster London on November 17th

annual dinner 20152015's Annual Dinner returned to the Lancaster London Hotel on 12th November 2015.

The dinner hosted over 500 guests, and included an after dinner speech by John Spence, the Financial Chairman for the Archbishop's Council of the Church of England.

It was an incredibly successful Annual Dinner which received some very positive feedback from both the table hosts and their guests.

The 2014 Annual Dinner took place at the Lancaster London on Thursday 13th November. We were delighted to have Hilary Lindsay, incoming ICAEW president, as our after-dinner speaker.

We were delighted to welcome Paul Farmer head of Mind,and winner of Britain's most admired charity chief executive award - as our after dinner speaker.

It was a fun filled evening with entertainment provided by Some Swell Sisters (pictured right). 

 Annual Fundraising Dinner 2011

AD2011 CBWe were delighted to welcome Nick Hurd MP, Member of Parliament for Ruislip, Northwood & Pinner and then Minister for Civil Society as the speaker.

This was one of our largest dinners ever, with 55 tables. Income from the event was used to support our policy and campaigning work during 2012.

john birdThe 22nd CFDG Annual Fundraising Dinner took place at the Intercontinental Hotel in Mayfair on Thursday 7th October 2010.

It was an immense success, bringing together more than 500 CFG supporters, members and other charity experts.

For attendees, it afforded a unique opportunity for meeting peers, discussing issues and relaxing in an elegant and informal setting. We were delighted to welcome John Bird, the accomplished actor and satirist (pictured right), as our after dinner speaker.
