About the Conference

Charities are required to be transparent and accountable. What we most want to show is that our activities are sustainable and our outcomes are worthy of the effort and funds invested in them. Compliance with SORP 2005 is not just about accounting – it is about the whole story of the charity, past, present and future.

Charities will never be short of a purpose, vision or energy. They can be thwarted by funding levels, legal potholes, competition for staff and lack of planning. They can bustle with activity but be unable to explain clearly what they have achieved and will achieve.

This 14th Conference from the Charity Finance Directors' Group brings together, in four seminar streams and three plenary sessions, a blend of knowledge, fact and experience to help delegates manage their planning and processes so that they can report and forecast with confidence on their Sustainable Outcomes.

The Conference is kindly sponsored by Bank of Scotland and haysmacintyre
