CFDG Training

CFDG currently runs two regular training courses, which are provided in cooperation with two long-standing corporate subscribers to CFDG:

Introduction to Charity Finance

(in cooperation with BDO Stoy Hayward)

Investment Training for Trustees

(in cooperation with Sarasin & Partners LLP)

In addition to these popular long-running courses, we do provide additional training sessions on issues of importance to the sector. For example, in 2005 we provided a series of SORP training events upon publication of the SORP 2005, which were kindly supported by Deloitte and were attended by hundreds of charity finance professionals.

We are aware of the myriad responsibilities our members share, plus the significant regulatory burden on finance & resources departments, and are therefore in the process of developing further additions to our training programme which we will introduce in 2007.
