CFDG Surveys

CFDG runs ad-hoc surveys among the membership to assess trends and opinions in the sector and works with the media to get issues heard throughout the sector.

We also run the Finance Count^TM benchmarking survey with Agenda Consulting.

We always encourage our members to have their say in the sector.

July 2010 - The CFDG, IoF and PwC Managing in a Downturn Survey 2010

This is our fourth survey on managing in a downturn, in collaboration with the Institute of Fundraising (IoF) and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC). The research will follow previous reports in looking at the expected impact of the recession on charities and tracking the changing nature of attitudes to the downturn. In addition, this latest survey will also focus on the impact of the recent Government spending cuts to better understand the effect they are having on the sector. The survey will be open until Friday 27th August.

May 2010 - The PKF and CFDG Annual Risk Survey 2010

In our ninth annual risk survey of the not for profit sector, we are seeking to help charity managers to move towards the charity vision by exploring the impact of the approaches to planning and the planning assumptions made, the lessons learnt over recent years and the risks that they face within their strategies.

May 2010 - The CFDG, CAF and Small Charities Coalition Banking Survey

We have devised this questionnaire in conjunction with CAF Bank and the Small Charities Coalition. As part of our newly established Banking Forum the results will be used to inform our policy work on the target end date of cheques and to lobby for improved banking services for charities.
