Be a corporate Supporter
Whilst CFDG does not offer corporate individuals membership, they can join the CFDG Subscriber Scheme, which offers experts and their companies an opportunity to build a long-term partnership with CFDG and its member charities.
The number of possible subscribers is limited by our governing document, and potential subscribers have to undergo an application process and be accepted by CFDG's Board of Trustees.
How do you Benefit from Becoming a Corporate Subscriber
As trusted experts with a commitment to the sector, Subscribers have the opportunity to work with CFDG and its members on developing the sector and taking sector issues forward. They are welcome to attend free members' meetings and receive the monthly members' mailing, giving them the chance to stay on the pulse of what is happening in charity finance and management. Furthermore, by participating in events on a regular basis, subscribers can build relationships with CFDG members over time, and thus gain a better understanding of the real sector issues.
A further benefit for subscribers is access to special reduced subscriber rates for exhibiting at or attending CFDG conferences and events. For a full list of subscriber benefits please contact the CFDG office.
How the Corporate Subscriber Scheme Supports CFDG's Charity Members
Through the scheme, charity members can benefit from the professional skills, knowledge and experience of organisations and individuals providing commercial services to the charity sector. The Subscriber Directory has a listing of current CFDG Corporate Subscribers.
Furthermore, many subscriber companies also volunteer to support CFDG events as sponsors, keeping attendance costs for charity members as low as possible. Finally, subscribers also contribute as speakers, as training providers, or on working groups, sharing their expertise and knowledge with our charity members often in an informal setting.
Some subscribers also have special affinity offers for CFDG members, giving them reductions on price or special conditions, which members would otherwise have no access to. You can find more information on such offers on the Membership Benefits page.
If you want to become a CFDG Subscriber
If you are interested in becoming a subscriber to CFDG you will have to demonstrate significant sector expertise. As mentioned above, there are only a limited number of subscriber places available, but we are always interested in building bridges between commercial sector knowledge and our charity membership. Please contact us by emailing or writing to David Membrey.
