2B: WHAT INFORMATION DOES THE BOARD NEED? GETTING BOARD LEVEL SUPPORT
FOR AN IT STRATEGY
How does your Board of Trustees view information technology? An overhead cost to be minimised? A dark art which is
difficult to engage with? Or an asset to enable strategic delivery? In this session David will explore the topic of getting
senior management and trustee engagement when developing an information systems strategy, and look at some of the
potential benefits, challenges and pitfalls of leading the strategic process.
