About the Conference
With tight resources charities’ IT use has to be justified by measurable benefits. What is the actual value of IT? Can it be measured? This year's IT Conference will once again look at a mixture of strategic issues & practical developments in IT. In addition, throughout the day you will be able to choose sessions which deal with issues around value - both in the sense of cost and in the sense of principles. In terms of value we will be looking at the business case for IT and lifecycle planning. In terms of values there will be presentations which deal with communications, social inclusion and environmental aspects with regard to IT implementation.
Please note this conference is open to both CFDG members and non-members as the issues discussed are of the wider interest to the sector
Use the opportunity for an update and take the chance to refresh your understanding of the key IT issues the sector faces. This conference will also offer you a chance to meet and discuss with sector colleagues and peers, and to take a step back and consider the bigger picture with regard to your organisation's IT strategies and ways forward.

Encouraging Co-operation
Over the last few years, this conference has proven to be a meeting place for Finance and IT Executives and Chief Executives alike, gaining added value from the exchange of views in such a mixed audience. CFDG is actively encouraging this, and we hope you can consider bringing your IT or Finance counterpart to the event, with a view to being able to use the day for more cross-departmental co-operation.
