Response: Local Government Pensions Scheme: Admitted Body Status (TUPE)

The Charities Consortium and CFDG have submitted a joint response to the consultation by the Department for Communities and Local Government on regulatory development of admitted body status provisions.

The voluntary sector is materially disadvantaged by the current arrangements and the future of the government's relationship with the sector as providers of social care is at risk. We welcome the proposals outlined in the consultation document and believe they will go a long way to addressing the barriers to contracting with local authorities. However we have outlined several areas where we believe more consideration needs to given.
