Consultation: Freedom of Information Act 2000 - Designation of Additional Public Authorities

CFDG has real concerns about this consultation and its proposals which would implicate charities delivering public services as designated public authorities who will be required to respond to Freedom of Information requests.

The proposals to extend the scope to charities delivering public services would have very real administrative and cost implications to those in the voluntary sector who already have limited resources available.
