Consultation: Annual Returns: the way forward

CFDG welcomed the opportunity to comment on the Charity Commission’s consultation on Annual Returns 2007.

CFDG is broadly content with the proposals put forward and the minimum regulatory impact they will have on charities. We do not believe that our members will face any significant additional challenges with the new process being put forward.

We do however have some concerns that the accounting information requested is a duplication with SORP2005 and members have registered some concerns about the serious incident reporting.
