David Clayden
Director of Strategic Information, The Salvation
Army
During his career, David has researched international cod stock
management, planned transport networks, lectured and published
on medical statistics and directed information services in an
NHS Trust Hospital. After a period as an independent information
consultant, David now works for The Salvation Army - enabling
the effective use of information across the rich variety of The
Army’s social and church work. As Chairman of the Charities'
Consortium IT Directors' Group, a group of the largest UK charities,
David is also involved with the Strategic Supplier Relationship
Group, a new organisation.

Adrian Boylan
Assistant Director, Management Services Division,
Scope
Adrian Boylan has been Assistant Director in Scope's Finance and
Management Services Division (a.k.a Head of IT) since 1999. Previously
he was Head of Information at Christian Aid, before that having
acted as Management Systems Advisor at the International Planned
Parenthood Federation. Adrian has also been a programmer, an IT
trainer, a support engineer and a fundraiser.

Marco Van Den Berg
Head, Information & Communications Technology
Unit, Greenpeace Intl
Marco has worked as an IT manager for various for-profit and non-profit
organizations in international settings, including IBM, the Consultative
Group on International Agricultural Research, the Office of the
High Representative for Bosnia-Herzegovina, the EU, and currently
Greenpeace International. He has a background in software engineering,
and has extensive experience in multi-cultural team management
after working in the Netherlands, Mexico, the Philippines, Kenya,
Bosnia and Kosovo.

William Hoyle, Chief
Executive
Charity Technology Trust
William Hoyle joined Charity Technology Trust in 2004 after a
26 year career in Financial Services and ICT. William started
his career in the credit card industry. In 1992 William moved
to Cable & Wireless, initially to develop new markets for
international telephone charge cards, later leading large international
teams through significant change & transformation. Most recently
as Product Management Director, he has led C&W’s product
management division.

James
Redhead, Finance Director
Charity Technology Trust
James is an experienced Accountant and Strategy Consultant, with
10 years experience in assisting charities develop their fundraising
and commercial activities. James has worked for a range of major
charities, including The Royal British Legion (since 1986), Scope,
Guide Dogs For The Blind, Age Concern, and R.S.P.C.A. amongst
others. He is one of the UK’s leading advisors on the use
of Lotteries and other committed giving schemes for Fundraising
as well as internet applications. James is co-founder of Charity
Technology Trust , the Charity set up to create and provide new
online technologies to UK Charities.

Dr. Phil Harwood
Services Director, Touchstone Tate Bramald
Phil has been involved in the IT Industry for 18 years in a variety
of consultancy, systems implementation, IT Management and academic
roles. As well as publishing papers on software implementation,
he has considerable practical experience of implementing software
solutions, systems integration and change management. Phil provides
a unique insight into the realities of business improvement using
IT.

Jacquie Wakeford
Head of ICT, Action for Blind People
Jacquie Wakeford is Head of ICT for Action for Blind People. She
has 17 years experience in IT with Legal & General Assurance
and METHODIKA (an IT methods consultancy), prior to joining Action.
She is a Member of the British Computer Society and a Chartered
IT Professional. As a previous homeworker and manager of homeworkers,
Jacquie has a particular interest in this subject.

David Membrey
Deputy Chief Executive, CFDG
David joined CFDG in September 2003, having earlier been Deputy
Director of charity Book Aid International. Over his 18 years
in the sector David has been extensively involved in finance,
IT, project management and facilities management. In recent years
he specialised in systems analysis and design, concentrating on
simplifying organisations' IT solutions and ensuring that responsibility
for IT projects is accepted at senior management and board level.

John Tate, Chair
IT Adviser, CFDG
John Tate is a qualified CIMA accountant and ex-Finance Director.
He has worked with hundreds of organisations over the last decade
in reviewing the opportunities IT offers and the issues to insure
any investment generates a real return. John is also CFDG's IT
advisor, a regular writer and conference speaker on IT matters.
He is currently working as an IT consultant and is non-executive
director/advisor to a number of IT businesses.

David Locke
Finance Director, BMS World Mission
David is Finance Director at BMS World Mission. BMS is a Christian
charity with 300 personnel working in 35 of the poorest countries
in the world. Previously he worked at Ernst & Young specialising
in IT security. He is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Information
Systems Auditor.

Roger Chester
Head of Finance and Administration, Lionheart
Roger has been interested in IT since 1982 when he first set up
a PC based accounting system while working as volunteer treasurer
at Birmingham Mind. Since joining LionHeart in 2002 he has become
interested in developing legacy accounting software, databases
and websites. He has presented sessions on these topics to the
Blackbaud Conference for Non Profit's, CFDG and the Charity Accountant's
Conference. His current major project is developing an extranet
to share information with LionHeart volunteers.

Peter Bodley-Scott
Managing Director Premier IT Partnership
Peter has been involved in providing IT network solutions, web
development and IT training services to the not for profit sector
for the last six years. Clients include Home-Start, Coalition
to Stop the Use of Child Soldier, Trinity Lighthouse and The British
Association for The Advancement of Science. Peter has worked with
over thirty charitable organisations in assisting them with their
IT strategy, specialising in the deployment of remote working
solutions and web technologies.
