About our Policy Work
CFDG's Policy Team
CFDG is extremely active in the policy arena, working both proactively and responsively on all areas that impact on the financial management of charities. This dual approach enables us to influence government and other policy-shaping organisations, ensuring that regulation, legislation and good practice guidance is developed in ways that can be implemented effectively by finance professionals.
Our other key objective is to feed information back to our members and the wider sector on developments and any legislative changes that will affect them.
To undertake our work successfully it is important that we engage with our members to hear their views, which we do through surveys, consultations and policy forums - you can find out more about this on the Have Your Say section of the website.
Alternatively, if you have any points you would like to raise or there are any issues that you feel other members would benefit from hearing about, please contact us at policy@cfdg.org.uk. When possible, we also aim to have representation from the Policy Team at each of the members' meetings so please do feel free to approach us there.
